The cocktails and ambiance are beautiful. I've been going through a rough time lately and working hospitality myself, this spot is a refuge for a night cap on the way home. The staff is friendly. I haven't tried the food yet but giving 5 Stars across the board.

Was back at The Rendez-Vous, this time hosting my mom’s birthday party for a group of girlfriends who go waaaay back. What an awesome spot. They took such good care of us with various requests and some vegan options, etc. Thank you!!

Another shining diamond I would like to keep hidden deep in pockets forever but it’s too pretty to not share this place is beautiful. I love everything abt it from the ambiance to the super interesting murals, the yummy floral interesting drinks, the other cutie patrons celebrating life, the staff that was so excited to tell us about the history of the place and show us every nook and cranny of the restaurant, the owner who was so lovely and kind in explaining her journey and giving unexpected life advice, the insane number of plants, the hidden little antique store in the back and open courtyard, the insane menu auGHh. I need to go back very soon. **menu is kinda very spenny howeverrr it lives in the same tier as snail bar in my brain so it’s worth it

Best place for a date night! Super cute and romantic. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Food and drinks always impress, and are locally sourced. Highlyyy recommend the jungle bird for drinks and any soup special they have. 3/1/24: compliments to the chef

Food amazing, atmosphere perfect, service excellent but waiter is abit quirky. It’s not cheap but menu small and everything is very fresh and tasted perfect. We shared 6 oysters, salmon dinner, two drinks, cheese and fruit dessert. Perfect dinner for two. 130 before tax(9.25%) and tip. Place has great vibes. My new favorite restaurant in Oakland!

Beautiful, unique spot to sip some cocktails. Best espresso martini I’ve ever had hands down (was the special of the night, unsure how often they serve it), was served by the owner who also gave us the best vibes ! The Picasso was a creamy Paloma, enjoyed, and more importantly, a fun pic that lives up the hype. Stunning walls, with old faded facades of an ancient Italian gentleman’s club, dreamy. Will definitely be returning.

Stopped by on a Friday night. Wait was reasonable. Bar seating gives you a good view of the staff working hard. It's a bit loud and dim in here. Food was excellent. Swordfish "steak" was light and well balanced. Chocolate cake was also really moist and the perfect consistency. Service was extremely warm. Would come again.

Gathered friends for a bday dinner here and we loved the warmth, the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, and most importantly...the food! Great spot. A little noisy - music levels could come down a notch and maybe get a little more fresh air flow but otherwise —perfection!
